My Brother and I camped at La Bailloterie Camping on Guernsey for 5 days on 25 August 2026. We had a family pitch, which... read more accommodated my Brother’s small camper van (with an awning) and my small car and tent. I also took my two Cockapoos. The pitch was flat, sheltered and we had loads of space. We were immediately, made to feel very welcome by each and every member of the staff. They could not have been more helpful.

The facilities were spotless. Hot water on demand - not coin or token operated. The showers had good water pressure. There were two hair dryers available (not coin or token operated) and a mirror above the 4 or 5 hand basins. Hooks galore for hanging up your towels and clothing. I did notice a baby bath, potty and changing area for little ones.

The WiFi was free and connection good. There was a lovely play area for children which included a charming rocking horse and a communal sheltered seating area.

The pretty beach was a five minute walk away, where we could swim each day and in the evening watch the sunset. It had a small kiosk selling ice creams and refreshments. The nearest shop was a 5 minute walk away.

The campsite itself provided fresh croissants/pastries each day and ice creams from it’s reception area.

Overall, La Bailloterie Camping has the most wonderful relaxed vibe. Everyone is welcome (including dogs) and nothing is too much trouble. We had a great time and plan to go back next year and are considering a Safari Tent which Rosalyn was kind enough to show us. It looked fantastic.

We’ve stayed here for many years and are so happy to see the family feel and peaceful facilities continue under the new owners, Jeremy, Ros, Justin and their families. They all worked tirelessly during our 6 week stay keeping the facilities in tip top condition and continuing to make subtle but welcome changes, putting their own ideas into the site. There is always someone around if you need anything and he whole extended family are so welcoming. The site is peaceful, spacious and really clean, which made it a pleasure to stay. Woody the dog loved it too and really enjoyed having the space to explore and relax! 🐶

Sometimes you don’t have to travel far to feel like you’re on holiday, and this place proved exactly that. We’ll definitely be back! 🚐🏕️🐾

The sites are huge (I’m in an electric motorhome pitch) there is plenty of shade from the sun if you want it as the whole sight is laden with beautiful mature trees.

The facilities are spotlessly clean, and there is plenty of them.

The little shop sells cakes and coffee, a few touristy things, and some very pretty and colourful bracelets that are made by one of the owners children.

It feels very relaxed here. Thursdays are acoustic music and bbq night where everyone gets together. I good opportunity to get to know people from all over the world, and the food is good quality.

As a solo van dweller I feel very safe.

Although it is next to a main road (in the camper field) you would never know as it is very quiet. There is also a huge food store across the
road.

Sitting in... read more the rocking chairs on the deck in the evenings is one of my happiest holiday memories. The BBQ night with local cider and live music was brilliant and we all enjoyed playing boules. The owners kindness shone through it all. They went above and beyond giving me oil on the first night when I went to make dinner and realised I had forgotten anything to fry with, providing extra pillows within 5 minutes of us asking, and they brought me coffee as we were packing up as they knew how much my morning coffee means to me and we were leaving before reception opens. We loved the live music night and bbq and my partner enjoyed watching the World Cup final in the barn.
We’ve stayed in a lot of campsites and I can honestly say this is one of our favourites. Don’t change you’ve really got the balance right! We hope to come back again soon.
